Every day, people ask themselves many questions, but do not know where to find answers to them. There is a huge number of opinions in the world regarding biblical or life issues, but how do you know who you can really trust?
This was the reason for the creation of the "QUESTION TO THE PASTOR" program on the "Nadia" TV channel. The peculiarity of this project is that the host of the program gives answers to all questions based on the Bible.
The leader of the project SERHIY ANTONYUK shared his observations and interesting points related to the program.
MOST PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT HOUSEHOLD ISSUES: HOW TO DO IT? HOW TO ACT CORRECTLY? WHAT IS POSSIBLE AND WHAT IS NOT POSSIBLE?
Why does this trend occur? It's quite simple - people are looking for easy ways. We are very comfortable when someone tells us what is possible and what is not. This happens because people do not want to take responsibility.
There are also more difficult questions. This shows that people are ready to search and are eager to find answers.
FOR ME, THE MOST INTERESTING QUESTIONS ARE THOSE THAT HELP A PERSON TO CHANGE.
This category of questions is different from those that aim to find justification. Even more interesting are practical questions when a person strives to become better. These are the questions that change us. When I look for answers to them, I always find something interesting for me.
Here is an example for the question: "I offended someone and I cannot forgive. What should I do?” – ten different answers can be given for ten people. I also like deep questions, because when I read the Bible, I come across interesting thoughts.
I like honest questions the best.
Here, for example, in the question: "I don't really like animals: am I a normal Christian?" - I like the approach of a person who sincerely cares about what he is in the eyes of God.
HOW DO I FIND ANSWERS TO CURIOUS QUESTIONS OR THOSE WITH NO DIRECT ANSWER?
Everything is very simple. Since I like to read the Bible and God gives a good memory, I always try to draw parallels with Bible verses and stories. Of course, there are questions about which the Bible does not give direct guidance, then I pray and God always gives answers.
THE FILMING PROCESS IS ALWAYS INTERESTING. SOMETIMES IT EVEN SEEMS THAT IT WOULD BE EVEN MORE INTERESTING IF THEY WERE “FRAME BY FRAME”.
The team and I often comment on issues and share our thoughts. I really enjoy the filming process.
REGARDING FEEDBACK, PEOPLE ARE DIVIDED INTO 4 CATEGORIES:
- people are grateful to hold answers and gain a deeper understanding of a topic.
- those who have their own additions.
- people who disagree and have alternative versions.
- haters But we thank God for them too.
PS Sometimes people need to talk about something bad to say about someone. We will survive, and maybe it will be easier for them. God will forgive them and they will repent.
FIRST OF ALL, I AM A PASTOR AND THE MOST ENJOYABLE THING IS THAT I CAN TRANSFER REAL AND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE TO PEOPLE.
This is not just a theory and my vision. I really talk about what I practice based on the Bible and my relationship with God. When I see feedback from people who are seeking God, it motivates and inspires me the most.
