For the first time in the 30 years of the Bible School's existence, 30 students from different regions of Ukraine and their 15 teachers gathered to study the Bible, communicate and pray together. During the week there were meetings in the local house of prayer.
Every morning, the head of the Bible School, Serhiy Vershilo, preached on the topic "Jesus and Man," and every evening, Pastor Oleksiy Mukomelets offered biblical doctrines for study. These meetings ended with a baptism service - 15 Bible school students made a covenant with God and joined the Adventist Church.
Four more willing persons declared their desire to be baptized in the near future. The rite of baptism was performed by Vitaly Meles and Volodymyr Kobrynuk, heads of the Bible School in the Western and Eastern Dnipro regions.
