Stories of faith often begin unexpectedly — with an accidental channel switch, a word heard, or an inner question that went unanswered for a long time. For Olga Sergiyevna, watching programs on the Nadiya TV channel was such a turning point — an experience that changed her life forever.
Eight years ago, Olga Sergiyevna, a resident of Kamianets-Podilskyi, was in a deep spiritual search. She had long felt a desire to come to God, but she admits that the variety of denominations and contradictory teachings only increased her confusion.
"I really wanted to find God, but I was disappointed. There were so many directions—and I didn't know where the truth was."
While watching television, she came across various religious programs—missionary shows, foreign broadcasts, channels with Jewish themes. However, none of what she saw resonated with her heart. Everything changed when sermons appeared on the air that spoke simply, logically, and biblically.
Programs featuring Oleksandr Bolotnikov, as well as other ministers — Igor Koreshchuk and Roman Prodanyuk — became for Olga Serhiivna the answer to years of internal questions.
"I heard exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't emotional, but deep and Biblical. I knew it was the truth."
A message reached her through the Nadiya TV channel, which she perceived as a personal call from God. It was then that a new desire arose - to find a church that taught the same way she heard on the screen.
Her search led her to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Although she didn't find the community right away, Olga Serhiivna is sure: God led her step by step.
"I said: I'm looking for that church I heard about on TV. And the Lord helped me find it."
This decision would later affect more than just her life. Five months before his death, her husband also accepted Jesus Christ through the ministry of the Adventist Church—an event that Olga Sergiyevna sees as a special grace from God.
Studying the Holy Scriptures helped her resolve long-standing internal contradictions, particularly the issue of the chosen people and the role of the Sabbath as a day of worship.
"I realized that God chose Israel not to exalt the nation, but to bring the Word of God to the whole world through them. And today we are spiritual Israel."
This realization brought a holistic vision of the Bible and a deeper meaning of the Christian calling—to serve people and reveal the true God to them.
Today, Olga Sergiyevna actively serves in the church: she is the secretary of the community, teaches Sabbath school, and leads a prayer service. And she does this not out of duty, but out of sincere joy.
"I'm preparing, I'm looking forward to it. I have a schedule, and I know: this is my ministry. Thank God."
Olga Sergiyevna's story is an example of how God can use modern media to reach a person's heart. One TV channel, one word heard, and a whole life finds a new direction.
